Prospect: Reflux vs Team Berserkers: 7pm GMT (Crispy)
These teams both come into this series tonight with a 1-4 record, at the lower end of the Omega Conference. They’ll be looking to get one over each other here and make a push into mid-table, as from this point for these teams, every extra loss on top of their existing records makes playoffs that little bit less likely. Both these teams were swept earlier in the week – by Austrian Force and Primal respectively – so they’ll be eager to bounce back in this matchup. We’re approaching the middle of the season, and these teams need to start putting wins together if they are to have any chance of ending up near the top end of the league – and tonight is a great chance for them both.
Master: The Squids vs The Swanky Squad: 8pm GMT (Crispy)
Once again we have two teams with very similar records here, with these two teams sitting next to each other in the Gamma Conference; The Swanky Squad having a 3-2 record, and The Squids with 2-2. The Squids will be hoping that iZerk, the player with a peak close to 1900, will be able to take the team to victory, whereas The Swanky Squad’s two players with 1700+ peaks will be trying to grab the win with their differently weighted roster. Both of these teams are in good positions to push on in the league from their middle-of-the-road records; who will it be that gets that push?
Challenger: Auto Celerity vs Lions Gaming: 9pm GMT (Crispy)
These two teams sit right at the bottom of the Delta Conference, in a similar situation to tonight’s prospect teams. Lions Gaming look quite a bit more promising however, with their only win so far coming over Bad Karma eSports, who are currently placed 4th in the Delta Conference. Auto Celerity on the other hand are yet to pick up a series win this season. Despite this they can feel slightly hard done by, having suffered three 3-2 losses so far, with the other two matches being 3-1. Their first match this week was one of those 3-1 defeats, this time coming against the top dogs of the challenger league, CrossFade. Will this experience against one of the best sides help them in this game help them to their first win of the season? Or will Lions Gaming push on in search of a 3-3 record by the end of the gameweek?
Team Berserkers 3-1 Reflux (Prospect)
The Squids 3-2 The Swanky Squad (Master)
Lions Gaming 3-2 Auto Celerity (Challenger)
